“Success is not final; failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts.”

— Winston S. Churchill

The journey at Amal fellowship program is the most beautiful part of my academic life as it was the first time that I really enjoyed the learning process apart from other educational institutes from school level to University. I want to praise the Amal’s four principles:

  1. Amal
  2. Khudi
  3. Kaam Kaam Kaam
  4. Aik Aur Aik Gyarah

At Amal I understood different concepts of personal life as well as of professionalism as there were a lot of beneficial concepts but I want to mention one that was ‘ Inspiring the life of immersion’. As I love the Amal’s techniques of learning through fun and entertainment activities.

There are plenty of incidents in the Amal journey which have change my concept and perception positively and has impacted onme a lot. As I really got motivated and inspired throughout the whole course. But I am mentioning one when I got motivated. As I am not good at writing and speaking English and I always thought that I will never be a good writer and speaker. I was sighting the students of my level were very good in English language. But in this course I find plenty of opportunities to write and speak through reflection questions, blog writing, live sessions etc. Basically I worked on Amal’s principle of ‘Amal’. I really want to thank my PM (Sir Noor Alam) as he motivated me about my constraint of speaking. I also got positive feedback from my fellows about my writing. I know that now at this time I am not a good writer and speaker but got hope and enough motivated through the journey of Amal that I can improve it by applying Amal principle of ‘Kaam Kaam Kaam’.

I felt that I can not do anything proper and not enough creative. It was about the middle of the fellowship as we have to propose an entrepreneurial based business idea. I was very confused about my idea and was thinking that it was not up to the expectations. But before the submission one of my Amal fellow, asked me that have you got an idea about entrepreneurial business? I answered him in positive. I shared my idea to him also recommend him another idea and he find my idea really good. And also my circle find my idea amazing apart from their own ideas. This incident boost my confidence on different constraints in life and feels that I am not a looser and I can do what I wants to. I started believing on ‘Growth Mindset’.

The above two incidents change my life and really impact me a lot. Firstly as I thought that I will never improve my skills of writing and speaking English but the incident totally change my perspective and I got enough motivated to work on my areas of improvement. Secondly as I thought that I am not creative and can not do anything great. But after the fore mentioned incident my mindset really get changed and I start pursuing the Growth Mindset.

In the end I want to thank Amal Academy for this initiative. Especially thank to my PM (Sir Noor Alam) and PA (Ma’am Fizza Khalid) for their mammoth support and motivation throughout this beautiful journey.

Thank you Amal Academy
